Psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy is a treatment that addresses suffering with the aim of creating possibilities for change by unsettling the past and opening up the future. The confidential relationship between patient and therapist allows for explorations and reflections of the patient’s mind, memories, experiences, associations, dreams, relationships, and feelings. This process can shift compulsive repetition into choice, open up the chance for something new, empower transformation, and unfold different ways of relating to self and others.
I provide individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults with sessions occurring one to three times a week. At this time my practice is conducted over Zoom or by phone. I am an in-network provider for First Choice, Kaiser PPO, Premera, Lifewise, Regence, and Cigna. I am an out-of-network provider for all other insurance companies and, upon request, will supply you with a receipt for payment and services for you to submit. Check with your insurance company to find out more about your out-of-network coverage before the first session. If you are interested in working with me you can reach me by phone, email, or the contact form below. We can meet for a fifteen minute consultation to discuss why you are seeking psychotherapy, fees, scheduling and moving forward; there is no charge for this initial consultation.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH61169823) in the state of Washington. I graduated from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology with a master’s in counseling psychology. Since 2018 I have provided psychotherapy for kids, adolescents, adults, and families in non-profit settings. I continue to learn and grow as a clinician through membership to professional organizations and engagement in consultation and supervision.
